This afternoon I ventured out on Komoka Trails heading to Charlies Tree to out up a tribute to my recently deceased puppy, Siri.
When I was coming down the hill to Charlie's Tree, I was shocked to see that the tree had snapped about six feet up from the forest floor.
Some of the other tributes were still on the upper portion of the fallen tree.
So, I removed those tributes and added them back next to all of the rest of our fallen trail running pets.

On Saturday October 10th we will be running the Medway Forest Trail, located at the Museum of Ontario Archaeology.

Distance is approximately 8Km on this out and back trail.
Then on Thanksgiving Monday it's time for the Turkey Trot X-Country Races in Springbank Park.
Lots of fun for the whole family.

- 8:15 AM: Race-day registration opens
- 9:45 AM: Kiddy Trot (~200m grass run)
- 10:00 AM: 2K grass loop
- 10:30 AM: 6.5K cross-country varied terrain loop (mix of grass, single track, stone chip, and paved sections)
